This is the most halloween appropriate image that I could "dig up". Even though my own father thought that it was a set up shot, with a stuffed crow, I promise that it wasn't. The shot is about 10 years old. I used to go to an old, beautiful cemetery on my days off and drive around looking at the headstones. I always took my English Bulldog and Chihuahua with me. We never got out of the car, just did "drive by shootings". I saw some crows on the ground and this one flew up on a headstone. I didn't see the name on the stone until I zoomed in with a 100-400 lens. When I saw the name on the stone I started to shake, I think I snapped the shot just out of a nervous reflex. No other shots. The crow immediately took off. I went back many times and put peanuts and popcorn on top of the headstone trying to lure the crows back to get a front view. They didn't come back. It was a "one shot" deal. It has become my signature photo and I've sold more prints of it than any other.
